Instrument-level preamp to line-level balanced DI with reverse DI interface
The MW1 is the purest DI signal splitter you can insert into any signal chain without changing your sound. And, it's combined with a great sounding reverse DI for re-recording and composite layering.
Why use an outdated passive DI box to knock your signal down to mic level, only to gain it back up (along with the DI's added noise floor) through a mic pre? Reduce noise and streamline your signal path using the MW1 to boost your instrument's signal directly to professional studio balanced line level!

Developed in cooperation with Michael Wagener, MW1 Studio Tool Real-Amping™ involves capturing clean safety tracks while recording, then re-recording those tracks through various amps, profilers, emulators and effects for composite layering or to replace the original amplifiers and effects if they no longer fit the mix.
Use the variable input and output impedance controls to match the original sound of the track or find new and better sounds. Use your favorite studio compressors, EQs, etc. as effects in your pedal chain or use stomp boxes as an effects loop in your mixer.
